The Montana Trail (part 3)

In previous posts I have shown my research on Adam Montana.  In "The Montana Trail (part 1)" I showed that he was a mod on Med's site Dinar Veterans before starting Dinar Vets.  Then I showed how there was a sense in the dinar community that Adam knew nothing about the dinar and took all of his information from Med.  In "The Montana Trail (part 2)" I showed that he has several dinar websites and domain names linked together and registered under the name James Wolf a.k.a. "Wolfyman".  I showed an excerpt from a post Adam did where he said he used to be a corporate recruiter.  I showed that there was a corporate recruiter named James Wolf in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin that was described as a talented con artist who has no professional credentials or education.  I showed that he also ran an adult website with Prose Only when he lived in Brookfield, Wisconsin.  I also showed how the court documents from a copyright infringement lawsuit listed his residence as Lomira, Wisconsin which is south of Fond Du Lac.

According to My Life the James Wolf who lived in Brookfield now lives in Greenville, Wisconsin which is just a few miles down the road from Neenah, Wisconsin - a city in an address Adam Montana has used.  He is 35 years old, which would have made him 15 years old at the time that he supposedly made a wad on the Kuwaiti "RV".  According to F8 who comments here at DDB there is no James Wolf listed as a Harvard graduate which is another one of Adam's claims.  If that's true, and if Adam Montana's real name is James Wolf then obviously he is a fraud.  But there was also an older James Wolf who lived in Fond Du Lac where the headhunter service Priceless Professional Services was located, and one in Sheboygan so I couldn't be sure which one (if either) was Adam Montana.

I posted my research back in November, hoping that somebody would follow up on it and maybe turn it over to some authorities, but apparently nobody did.  So back to work I went, determined to solve this case once and for all.

James "Adam Montana" Wolf
I have now discovered where I got off track in my previous research.   The James Wolf living in Fond Du Lac was listed as between 50 and 54 years old, and there was a mug shot of a James Wolf age 53 living in Sheboygan that I thought might be Adam Montana.  But if Adam is 53 it's not the same James Wolf as the one in Greenville, obviously.  I overlooked the fact that the James Wolf who lived in Brookfield and now lives in Greenville used to live in Lomira which is only 15 miles south of Fond Du Lac.  How I missed that I have no idea, but I have now connected those dots.

I found his Facebook page and watched his videos and the voice is a match with the one in Adam's audio ebook and conference call recordings.  There is no doubt in my mind that this is Adam Montana.  He likely never went to Harvard.  He can't do basic math as I have pointed out more than once.  He didn't profit off the Kuwaiti dinar.  (DUH!)  It's highly doubtful that he has any CBI contacts.  He knows squat about the dinar.  I believe that his background is just what susanf67 in Fond Du Lac said - that of a talented con artist (click on Messages under Public Clarification Board), and he has now gained the confidence of thousands of dinar investors who are making him rich even without an RV.

Compare the voice in the above video taken from James' Facebook page with this voice from an interview Adam did last year.  (18 minutes in) http://www.blogtalkradio.com/earths-secrets/2011/02/16/dinar-news-special-guest-adam-montana-author-of-rv-intel If you have Adam's audio ebook Real RV Intel you have an even better recording for comparison.
In The Montana Trail (part 2) I mentioned Mike Gill and Marshall Donnerbauer as possibly being "Adam".  I have nothing linking Marshall to Adam but Mike's address matches an address that Adam has used so I haven't eliminated his involvement.   As I said in The Montana Trail 2 it's quite possible that Adam Montana is several people working together.  Adam has referred more than once to the Dinar Speculation "team".  Maybe Mike is a part of that team, but I think it's also possible that James just swiped Mike's name and mailing address to try and cover his tushie.
To the members at Dinar Vets let me say please don't just dismiss this as bashing.  Take the time to read through my research first and form your own conclusions.  Like many of you I once envisioned Adam as an educated, middle-aged man with a strong background in currencies and investment.  Instead, my research suggests that Adam Montana is actually a 35 year old high school dropout who has run an adult website and has been in jail for domestic violence. I'm not going to waste a lot of time trying to convince people who want to believe in Adam and his opinions on the dinar. I'm just going to say that he's a fraud, plain and simple. You've been warned, folks!

If you'll go to http://wcca.wicourts.gov/simpleCaseSearch.xsl and type in Wolf James D for the name and 06/27/1976 for the DOB in the search engine you can review a list of his court records.  (Unclick where it says "When searching using the Birth Date field, also show parties without a birth date" if you don't want to sort through dozens of listings that don't apply.  If you want to view all of his records leave it checked and just look for the year 1976.)

  2. Wow Sam absolutely outstanding work! According to his Facebook page James works at Greenville Storage LLC in Greenville WI. Like I mentioned I have a positive ID on Him and his wife. The phone numbers and address are listed on the Greenville Storage LLC website but I copied all that down in case they take it off. Im digging for more info as we speak. And I have a contact in Fond Du Lac who will snoop as well. Bye Bye Adam .. Hope you had a good ride.

  4. Great work Sam. It would seem that Wolfyman's court history, long as it is, may soon become quite a bit more lengthy. The voice comparison is indisputable, so even the most ardent of the Adam Montana fans will have a hard time denying that they've been had by the lying, smooth talking snake oil salesman.

It's time for the criminal house of cards to fall (and the guy DOES look a bit like a Joker, doesn't he?) Hopefully a large number of DV members reading this site will copy this information and repeatedly post it on the clown's website. Let him keep busy deleting those posts as his mods, who hopefully have no part in the con, resign from his site in disgust. If they don't, they are fools.

One would hope that his VIP victims will start demanding refunds and filing complaints with multiple government agencies in many parts of this country and others. I suspect that the rest of his minions of defenders will soon see the light, as they find it more and more difficult to refute the evidence compiled against him. I'm sure that the money of his thousands of victims has likely already been spent on his many claimed trips (Dinar meetings...cough) to Belize and perhaps a few ski resorts, but the effort should at least be made to recover whatever funds can be retrieved. This guy makes Oakie and his gang look like candidates for sainthood.

  5. Thanks guys. I have to acknowledge the work of a couple of guys in this. First, thanks to DinarFacts at Iraqi Dinar Money for giving us the name James Wolf. I'm not that good with analytical tools so it's doubtful that I could have ever found that. And second is Grumpy, a disgruntled former mod at DV who posted the Adam Montana chat at Dinar Discussions that included James' reference to his career in corporate recruiting which was the clue I needed to track him down. Also thanks to my followers for the information that you send me and for helping to get the word out. I have a feeling this freak show is coming to an end soon.

  6. Great job Sam I can see this info is spreading around the Dinar World.

And now the question we all have been waiting for...... Drum roll please...........................Sonny1 is the man that Sam describes as Adam Montana on this page the same Adam Montana you know?

    The world is waiting...

    2. James Wolf is now destined to remain glued to his keyboard in order to desperately and quickly delete this expose' from his corrupt DV site every time it appears. It is vitally important that as many readers as possible continue to post this information over and over again as often as possible on his and every available Dinar website. This clown has victimized far too many people. His site moderators should be ashamed to be associated with a douchebag like this. Karma is a bitch Montana! Finally people will see you for what you are.

You know, one day, and it will not be long, we will be on this sight laughing and telling stories about all our adventures we have had in this investment. We will be smiling and joking around, thanking Okie and Bulldog for their tedious unselfish work to bring us the best that they can possible bring us, and they even apologize when something they said was not right.

I, for one, will not wait for that day; rather I will start today, laughing and joking about what a rollercoaster ride this has been....more thrills and screams around ever cornor.

Today...I will start thanking Okie and Bulldog for their tireless work on "OUR BEHALF"!

Today....I will start living as though it has already come to past!

Today....I will praise God for the opportunity to be a part of such an investment and to have met people such as you!

Today....I choice to be happy, satisfied and content!

Why???? Becuase I know that I know, that I know....My Redeemer...is Faithful and True!

Have a fantastic day "All".....I will be praying for us all!

  9. More likely than not, most of the people who are repeatedly singing the praises of these douchebags are in fact "the douchebags themselves." I find it difficult to believe that after all this time, and all this evidence, that there are STILL individuals who are sufficiently naive to believe ANY of their nonsense. It's far more likely that most of those supportive posts are fakes. Once the word starts getting around on Montana, I believe the euphoria and hype will begin to collapse, as more people realize they've been had.

  10. You might be right Legolas. But don't get your hopes up.
There’s a group of guys behind the scenes all high-fiving today over the latest news. Apparently the Council of Ministries has stated the redenomination (delete 3 zeros) plan is on hold until further notice. I almost posted about this the other day, but didn’t. With the news that Maliki wants Shabbibi replaced with his own puppet at the CBI. The multiple articles every day about the dinar market rate dropping against the dollar and them not being able to stop it. This news lately had me worried the currency redenomination was in jeopardy. We’ll have to wait to see what the CBI’s comment is on the Ministries statement. If the redenomination is put on the back burner, then this is the best news possible for dealers and gurus making money off this scam. This means things will continue on just as they have for the last 7 years. I don’t think any revelation about the character of these douchebags will shake a majority of followers to loose faith.
One thing that might help… the CBI mentioned in the past about issuing even large notes. If the Gov blocs the CBI from redenominating, then look for the CBI go through with the plan to issue 50,000 and 100,000 dinar bills. Seeing huge bills like that being issued while pumper/gurus continue the lie of big denominations being pulled might have an effect.

    2. By far the best news for pumpers. Now they get to make more money on the weak and desperate. Kind of reminds me of another organization that preys on the weak and desperate by taking money.

      Delete
    3. Don't forget the fact if Iraq is going to release an even larger denomination that means that a new ISO for the Iraq Dinar would have to be created and released (NID or whatever they decide). Since we know they didn't print those notes in the initial run it would be a clear indication of the impending RD. How they handle it is anyone's guess, but if they are to release larger notes in a shorter run to suck in the bills on the street, they would save money (IMO) by printing new lower notes at the same time. Then just hold back the newly printed lower notes until they have soaked up all the current notes (all denominations folks1). They don't trust banks, and they've spent the last year telling people exactly what is coming. So....the sooner they change out their currency the easier it is for folks to do the math. I always laugh when I hear folks try and decipher 000 stories. They are being clear folks.

    4. You mean like the Christian Church? Or the IRS? Or The United States of America, Inc.? Or the FDA? Or the USDA? Or the AMA? Or the American Cancer Society? Do you believe what you were taught in school about history? What you say could be just as stupid as what the "gurus" say.

      Delete
  11. No question about it. If they delay redenomination, then the Dinar saga continues. BUT, that's also good news for us, as it means that there is at least a "remote" possibility that the value will increase slightly over the next couple of years, allowing most of us to at least break even by having more time to sell our Dinars.

There seems to be little doubt that Maliki is opposed to Shabibi and the RD plan....for whatever reason. But there is also little doubt that he doesn't favor the "RV" scenario, which would destroy the Iraqi economy virtually overnight. It appears that he wants the currency to remain unchanged, which as DaveD pointed out, would likely result in the issuance of new larger notes.

One way or the other, Maliki's days as PM are numbered. I believe he is currently in the last year of his second 4 year term. Ultimately, in order for their economy to progress, they will have to RD and issue a new currency. No doubt, a delay is good for the pumpers and gurus, allowing them to prolong the RV scam. BUT, if enough people make this latest info on Montana known, HIS bs Dinar empire will crumble in short order, and that can't happen quickly enough.

  13. Anyone seen this latest from American Contractor.
    http://americancontractor.com/
"Governor Shabibi is negotiating his departure from the Central Bank of Iraq along with other senior members of the CBI. We will see departures in the management of the CBI by the end of the year. It is rumored that they will be leaving the country.

The Iraqi dinar is being seriously undermined by Iran and Syria who are in need of U.S. Dollars to skirt the international sanctions. You will see a continued weaken Iraq dinar in the months ahead."

The link to the story no longer works. Dinar Vets has locked threads about this.
    This could be huge!
There were reports months ago that Maliki wanted to get his hands on the currency reserves at the CBI to use for the budget. Shabibi blocked him and Maliki had to come out and deny the claim. It looks like he's trying again, just through different means. If he gets his puppets in control of the CBI and pilfers the FX reserves. The little faith people currently have in the dinar will quickly erode... along with the value. Remember... it was Saddam's plundering of the reserves at the central bank that started the fall of the dinar in the eighties.

    1. Interesting DaveD, though I don't see Iraq having a problem getting their hands on USD, since oil is bought and paid for with USD. This is just my opinion but the CBI can keep this thing going as long as they are allowed to run the presses. I don't believe that anyone on the streets of Iraq would give up their USD or their Dinar for Riyal, assuming they know that Iran is coming under harsher and harsher sanctions. We know the GOI wants to be paid in hard currency, we know they haven't printed a new note with dates of 2011/2012. So IMO, they are still using the 2010 replacement Swiss plates and running the presses to compensate, then they are sending it out of country and this allows their inflation under check. Just my opinion but I see at some point they will just lock the borders down, and only in country dinar will be valid when they are ready to swap out to the new currency. Look up the CBI law to see if they are required to honor out of country currency and you'll see they are not obligated in any way to honor it.

  16. Back to Adam real quick this is a post someone just forwarded to me from a Dinar Vets Facebook page

WHO IS JAMES WOLF? PLEASE ID ?

    Sara Johnson:
" James Wolf is someone Adam worked with at one time for website stuff. Whoever these anonymous people are that are trying to hurt Adam have decided that he is James, and now they're posting everywhere they can that Adam is James or something".

    Sara Johnson:
It's kind of funny that they are in an uproar that Adam hides his identity... yet they do the same thing.

    Sara Johnson
But it's sad that even though Adam doesn't hurt anyone, sell Dinar, or make up lies... that's exactly what they are doing. Trying to hurt people, at any cost, even lying to do it.

    Sara Johnson
It's also sad that they are saying Adam uses religion to promote his agenda... I've never once heard Adam mention God in his chats or anywhere else.

Evidently now Adam is telling his staff to say that Wolf is someone who worked for him a while ago. Hmm and he docent Make up lies? What a douchbag..

    1. Hey, I didn't pull this stuff out of thin air. My research is well documented. There's a network of websites all connected to Adam's sites Dinar Vets and Dinar Speculation and the owner listed for those domain names is James Wolf. Adam said he worked as a corporate recruiter and his specialty is networking. The James Wolf who ran a corporate recruiting company called Priceless Professional Services in Fond Du Lac also ran a web hosting company called Prose Only in Brookfield. There's a James Wolf listed as living in Greenville who used to live in Brookfield and Lomira (just outside of Fond Du Lac). The James Wolf living in Greenville has a Facebook page, and until a couple of days ago that page had videos of James and his voice is identical to Adam's voice. Those are all facts.

I never said anything about Adam using religion. Somebody else said that. And I never said that he sells dinar. But he does sell stuff. Lots of stuff. VIP. OSI. OGIT. Books. Ads. And he does make up lies, like the ones about being a Harvard grad and the one about profiting on the Kuwaiti dinar.

And yes, I have chosen to remain anonymous for now. A lot of people don't like what I'm doing because I'm costing them money. Some of these people have criminal backgrounds. They've already physically threatened the guy at Iraqi Dinar Money. So pardon me for not telling everybody who I am. But I think there's a big difference between remaining anonymous because you want to commit fraud and remaining anonymous because you want to keep your limbs intact.

This info should open up his followers eyes and they should be able to see they been had but sadly some are too far gone to be told otherwise. It's a sad world we live in. Just read the go rvers posts.....it's embarrassing

    5. Extensive evidence has shown that there are undoubtedly "issues" and suspicions about Sonny1's involvement with Wolf (Montana) as well as some of his actions and claims, but until an extensive investigation reveals otherwise, there is also little doubt that compared to Wolf, Sonny1 is a saint, and has demonstrated a degree of class and empathy on more than one occasion. That being said, I also know from a great deal of experience that jmw has more information than most, and has been on the right side of this issue for several years now. Before being too critical of his opinion and position, I would suggest asking the reason for his sentiments. My bet is that he has strong evidence to support them. I'm also certain that dinar-law is not Sonny1. That definitely is not Sonny's style. He may not answer direct questions, but he doesn't hide behind fake names either. He deserves credit for even coming to this site. He could have very easily ignored it, as virtually every other guru and pumper has to date.

Personally I'm now very much interested in hearing from some of the mods on Montana's site. Many if not all of them are now well aware of who and what Montana really is, and are placing themselves in legal jeopardy by continuing to serve him and do his bidding. Undoubtedly most of them have done so with no compensation, while Wolf (Montana) himself has made a small fortune. If I were them I'd be more than a little bit disturbed by this information and the fact that they've been used and put at risk.

    6. i am not going to answer any adam montana questions, i will say that i have been watching the last few days, and i will always stick up for myself, what jmw will say is that i ran dv, and i made money, that is half true, i will explain, this is the 44th time and last time that i will defend myself, i helped start dv, i could of made money off of it but decided against it, i just wanted to chat about the dinar, and break down my investment, i used to go on chat and tell people what i was hearing, i was wrong a lot, along with everyone else, the only thing i was right about was the goi seating, never on a rv or any rv related news. back to jmw, we were chatting one night on dv, and he asked me if i minded if he stayed and posted even though he sold his dinar, i personally thought it was a waste of time but out of respect for someone i did respect i said i didn't mind. we continued to chat, and he wondered about running a website, i told him that it was more work than it was worth, now i don't own dv, i was a mod with a little more power. now on to me making money..... the only thing i ever received was a laptop, my wife was going back to school and needed our main computer, now i own a electronic wholesale company but we deal in security systems, not computers, and i was not going to buy one just to post on a website, so i took a refurbished laptop so i could continue to post during the evening hours. now legolas i do have respect for you, you have no idea what you are talking about there are no "issues" between myself and anyone, i am my own person. you want to investigate me? for what? doing what i said i was going to do, and getting you back on dv, and treat you with respect, and 100% back you up. that makes no-sense, i have been in your corner, and the reason your are not there anymore has nothing to do with me. jmw is way out of line, i have stuck up for him hundreds of times, and he now says i am scummy, that is low and shows what kind of person he is, the reason he isn't there anymore has nothing to do with me as well. the only one on here that shows any respect is sam, the one i gave my info to a while ago, the one who keeps telling you all that i have no record. i think you guys need to move on from the evil sonny1 attitude you all have.

    7. Sonny1, in all fairness, we may not have agreed, but I too have stated that you deserve to be given the benefit of the doubt and a fair chance to give your views and opinions, and have been respectful of you. Some of us do respect that you are willing to stand up for yourself and face the people who question things. We may not have agreed, but I do enjoy the discussion you bring to the table.

All of that said though, I was waiting to get your take on all of this with James. Let me ask you since you were involved in his site in come capacity though, when he lied about getting rich on the Kuwaiti Dinar, or being a Harvard Grad, both of which he was clearly caught in a flat out lie with, would you now agree that being a known and caught liar, he may not be the best person to associate yourself with in this Dinar community, and can you now see how an association with him in some way does tarnish your name some? I can tell you that if I was in some way associated with someone that has been caught in an outright lie to people that pay him or her for a service he/she provides, I would be the first one to call that person out on such actions, and at the very least, advise the person to apologize and admit the wrong doing. Right now, that may be the best move that James can make before the walls close in on him completely...

    8. jay, much respect to you as well, i really enjoyed our chats on tens, and i will be back soon for another 2 hour marathon argument. lol
i will not speak on behalf of anyone else, i have enough to worry about with myself. anyone who has seen me on these websites should know by now that i come on the dinar sites to discuss my investment, i see know one else on here defending me but myself, i will not defend anyone else, i just worry about myself

  24. I believe dinar-law and jmw are both correct. Disclaimers and liability waivers generally aren't worth the paper (or websites)they're written on. They may "mitigate" some degree of responsibility in the event of a civil suit, but a jury can virtually ignore them if they believe the victims (plaintiffs) were intentionally deceived. In this case there is absolutely no doubt of deception, and he's definitely charging for financial advice, crossing both State and International boundaries. He's lied about virtually everything, and he's now reportedly instantly banning anyone who posts a reference to this thread on his site. That in itself is very telling and demonstrative of guilt. At this point, any member of his site not recognizing him for what he is must be brainwashed beyond intervention. This information needs to be posted on his site as often and by as many people using as many fake identities as possible. It's pretty obvious that he's now running scared. If he's not, he's a "complete" idiot. His followers are incredibly naive.

As jmw stated, the gurus will now be spinning the latest news as a "good thing" in spite of the fact that it proves they've been wrong about everything claim they've made regarding the removal of the three zeros. This delay simply provides them with additional time to screw over MORE people.

  25. First of all…I am not here to highjack Sam’s blog with a personal issue that people think I have with Sonny…the truth is I have been around him for many years…and he can certainly come off as a very nice guy and who knows maybe he is…but he is either very naive and unintelligent or very manipulating…And I don’t think for a second that he is unintelligent …lets look at just some of what he has done:

We all know he has very close ties to both Medic and Adam… Sam has done a great job of illustrating who and what the real Adam is…do you really think Sonny isn’t aware of this?...that Sonny didn’t know about Adam lying about making money off of Kuwait?...about Adam not going to Harvard?...Sonny admittedly started the sight and he absolutely told me he ran the site…do you not think he is aware of the revenue stream of the site?...do you not think he knows that Adam is taking advantage of these people?

I haven’t seen Sam deal with Medic much but I have dealt with him very closely over the years…I was a MOD at Dinar Rumor when Medic was there…I was also one of the first people that moved over to his new site Dinar Vets …I have spent hours on the phone with him several years ago and it was obvious that he was completely manipulating his “followers”. He was flat out lying to them in addition to creating different “personas” to help sell his “intel”. Now my understanding is that he and Sonny are/were very very good friends…do you really think he wasn’t aware of these lies?…he was there on that site just as I was.

Sonny claims to have contacts that are Dubai “economist” who tell him that the RV is a certainty and there have been many many times (for a while it was about every 30 to 45 days) that he would get information from them regarding an immediate RV. Of course any economist will tell you that a significant RV is not possible…also, if they were so in the know…how come they didn’t know about the recent change in value? Sonny recently claimed that the dinar was going to revalue due to them having to pay GE…obviously they could pay them in US dollars and when I pointed that out to him he lashed out. Do you really think one of his “contact” told him that?...if not then what is the point of telling everyone it is going to revalue?...it is to encourage dinar sales and traffic to the site.

Sonny pretends that Okie is a joke…yet he and Adam do the exact same thing.

Do you really think Sonny is so dumb that he would allow his contacts to embarrass him over and over again?...Do you really think Sonny is so dumb that he can’t understand what "deleting the three zeros" means?...we actually had a debate about it so he could try to convince the “flock” that all of the articles coming out were not about a redenomination. He actually said that Turkey’s redenomination was a failure and that is why Iraq referred to them “as an example of what not to do”.

Sonny knows exactly what he is doing…so why would he spend so much time misleading people?...because he has nothing to gain by it?
Fact is and Sonny knows it…he told me point blank that he ran DV…he down played the amount of money but also said he made some but not much for the amount of time it took….Nick knows a lot more than you think he does and a lot more than he will ever let on…that is how he likes to be perceived…nice guy just trying to help people out…sorry but I don’t feel I owe him or any other “guru” anything…I hope he has to pay for what he has done.

  26. Sorry one last piece...Breitling was also part of that group at Dinar Vets that Medic started...prior to going out on his own blog and we all know the great information he has provided. Sonny has defended Breitling on many occations and even though people aren't supposed to promote other sites for some reason Breitling's blog is exempt from that rule. Do you really think Sonny isn't aware of what Breitling is promoting?...yet is says that Breitling is "a good guy"....if you connect the dots...Adam, Sonny, Breitling all go back to Medics original Dinar Vets site (Legolas can verify..he was there too)....kind of makes you go hmmmmm

  27. your right jmw, i was making money, and gave you the green light to tell everyone it wasn't going to revalue, like you were doing. use your head....
turkey's rd was an early tragic failure, hence the article i posted about the iraqi f-m saying it devalued the turkey currency. i did run dv, and have never denied that, i was head mod, and helped start the site, which i have said 50 times now. jmw your not saying anything that i haven't admitted, except that i dont and haven't made any money, i got a laptop so i could post, you truly have no clue what you are saying, and to be honest i just lost all respect i had for you, and to think i took your back hundreds of times....
oh, and now your crazy, i have said all a long that breitling is a fake, and a complete fraud, he might be a nice guy, but he sells dinar, and is fake as it gets. and jmw, you used to talk to medic on the phone too, didnt you?

    2. So now my Dubai friends are a lie? I used to run it but not anymore. And you can ask anyone on here even I have said breitling is a fraud. I still think it will RV so I guess I am stupid. And nothing I believe in is a lie. And IMO your post has crossed the line

  28. Sonny stop. You are guilty. Just give it up already. Everything jmw said is true and you have a great way of replying without every answering what was posted. You and Adam are in on it and it's evident. All those people you roll with are frauds (Adam, med, breitling). You cannot keep denying your involvement. I was around when you made ge claims and all these other crazy posts. You are very good at trying to turn around the problem on the other poster rather than dealing with how you are exposed at how wrong you've been. Get over yourself. You can't say what you want about me. Could care less and I'm not ignorant. You are a fraud. Period

So, why can you not answer the questions? Did you know what James was doing? Did you know he was giving false intel? Did you know he was lying about his education? Did you know he was lying about making money on the Kuwaiti dinar rv? These are not questions where you have to answer for or about James. These are questions directly for you to answer about yourself. Do not skirt them by asking other questions or going on a pity trip. Just simply answer the questions.

  30. I can in fact verify virtually everything jmw said above, with the exception of the statement regarding Sonny1's defense of Breitling. I'm not sure what their relationship was several years ago, but more recently, I have several times seen Sonny call out Breitling. I don't recall the exact words, but it was clear he had little use for him - at least within the past year or so.

Like jmw, I initially had a lot of respect for Medic, since he seemed to have a more in-depth knowledge of all things Iraq than any other guru, hands down. HOWEVER, in the past 2 years, after my own investigation revealed the "real facts" about the Dinar, I posted several lengthy editorial pieces on Medic's DS site, clearly explaining the logic of a redenomination, including all of the evidence supporting it. Medic sidestepped every question, (not unlike Sonny) simply stating that the RD would never happen, and that we would "soon" see a revaluation at or near $1. Although I never spoke with him on the phone, at that point it became clear what he was up to, and I stopped going to his site. I had previously followed him from DR, to his DV, and finally DS.

Ultimately, I believe that at some point in the near future, an incredibly complex and lengthy investigation will finally reveal the truth and identify the participants. I won't be surprised to see Federal Target Letters start going out to site owners and their moderators as a beginning to this process. There are literally tens of thousands of pages of evidence (probably much more) available at server sites as well as held by many individual site members, and those are but a tip of the iceberg. Phone, text, e-mail, instant messages, IP addresses, bank and credit card records, etc. will undoubtedly be very revealing. "Tampering With Evidence" is a felony level offense in and of itself, and I've already noticed some of that going on. Things may get VERY interesting when the heat gets turned up. We can only hope.

  32. this is in response jmw, you were proven wrong on the breitling accusations, i saw him go after breitling back on medics dinarvets site 2 years ago. he has admitted too being wrong when he has been, there is no proof that he has made any money off of the sites he has been on.
he brings up a good point, why would he back you while you were telling people they were stupid, and the dinar would never revalue if he were trying making money?
before i was banned i saw him defend you and legolas.
i haven't talked to sonny1 since the dinar rumor website days, but when i got banned two weeks ago, for arguing with a mod in chat sonny1 took my side and he didn't have to do that. i think you guys are being jerks. sorry for the rant but enough is enough.

Now if Sonny sincerely had or has no idea that his associates con people then I apologize to Sonny. I think the question we all want answered is how could someone spend so much time with con men and not realize they are con men?

    1. There's a right way and a wrong way to go about it IMO. Right way - "Sonny1 were you aware of what Adam was doing and if so why did you go along with it?" (The way JayP did it.) Wrong way - "You're just as guilty as he is you lying douchebag!"

The purpose of this blog is stated at the top - to address the hype and prevent people from being misled about the dinar. That includes exposing frauds and their lies. It doesn't include demonizing everybody they have ever associated with. I've known quite a few people over the years who worked right alongside of Douchie recipients. Most of them are decent people who just got caught up in the hype. Hell, I even got caught up in it for awhile. I can hardly condemn others for that without condemning myself. I might have even convinced other people to buy dinar before I did my research.

I don't like the fact that Sonny1 has associated himself with the likes of Med and Adam, but without evidence that he has lied about his contacts and intel or has profited off the dinar I am going to try to treat him with the same amount of respect that I do the others who comment here.

  34. The most important thing that can happen here is that the word needs to get out to the Dinar sheep who "Adam Montana" really is. Could you Imagine the severe backlash if "Saint Adams" followers (a lot of them who are good decent faithful Christians) found out that their leader was a 35 year old lying dirt ball with no education, a criminal record which involved domestic violence and who profited off of adult websites. I think that he would go down immediately and their would be a fraud charges and eventually serious jail time.

I think its important that we all try to do what Sam has done but take it to the next level. Lets all try in some way to inform people in the Dinar community of who Adam Montana really is. Open new blogs post in a decent manner where ever we can to get the word out, try no to bash (I know Im guilty of that in this post but I couldn't help myself) just lay out the facts for people to see.

Its also very clear to me that me that James Wolf has put a big time gag order on Sonny1's mouth, concerning his involvement with him. Sonny1 you may be a great guy and have a great family but you are part of the crime. Any smart attorney would tell you to never ever post here even to defend yourself but now its way too late. Im sorry.

James Wolf I know you read this and I hope your aware that eventually you will get caught now that the public knows who you really are. I have already told many many people who hold dinar and go to DV and they are absolutely furious. The word is spreading faster than you could imagine.

Thanks Sam you have done a great thing here! Stay safe Im sure your getting threats.

    Peace

  35. Well said, Sam. I too very much want to hear what Sonny1 has to say in answer to all of these questions, and despite the fact that he generally ignores them, I still have to give him credit for coming here in ANY kind of effort to defend his position. My gut feeling is that he knows what's been going on and is not entirely happy about it, and is therefore making at least SOME kind of effort to mitigate it. At least I'd like to believe that. When he tells me more of what he does know, I'll be a bit "more" impressed.

Meanwhile, I agree completely with Bailey's sentiments above. The word about Montana's true identity and background needs to be spread as quickly as possible. He's apparently living a lavish lifestyle at the expense of innocent victims, and he's doing everything in his power to keep that information from being known. His mods should be ashamed of the fact that they are aiding and abetting him in the process.

    1. You guys are defending the indefensible. Sonny wants everyone think what a good guy he is, he wants people giving him credit for coming here and defending his position on the RV. I find it incredibly hard to believe that Sonny has no idea of the fraud taking place by his associates. There are only 2 possible scenarios. One, Sonny is not intelligent enough to figure out what's going. Or 2, he knows and doesn't care to do anything about it. How can anyone possibly defend that? I don't care how nice a guy you are. It would be like defending a getaway driver. Sure, he didn't technically commit the actual crime, but he was sure involved in it.

      Delete
    2. The Reeder life isn't always so black and white. To use your example of a getaway car, suppose the driver doesn't know his friends are committing a crime? Suppose he is doing it under duress? Suppose he did it willingly but later decides to cop a plea? That's why we have different degrees of murder, theft, assault .... etc.

Nobody is more determined to address the frauds in the dinar world than I am. But I can only be effective to the extent that I am fair. If I start branding everybody a douchebag and a fraud I'll lose credibility. Sonny1 has given me his personal info. All I found is a few speeding tickets and a bank issue that was satisfied. If you guys can find more than that I'll be happy to look at it.

  36. I totally agree with you Sam the more civil and respectful we keep it here the more legitimate its going to look to new readers that visit and observe the comments. I think that bashing and blatant fingerprinting ultimately just turns people off and they will be quick not to take this site serious.

It would be great if we could compile a list of all the Dinar related websites that are not affiliated with James Wolf's network. Sites that would give us a chance to discuss this topic civilly with facts to back it up. If your banned then that will tell you what you need to know, just document everything. Their is a level of secrecy among some of the Dinar dealers and web owners out there. I am beginning to understand why.

Make calls anonymously when possible, don't harass anyone ask polite pertinent questions and never lose your cool, it works wonders. This will take some time but there are Dinar VIP investor's that probably have legal backgrounds and when they find out about how Wolf has used his lies to establish trust among his followers and thusly profited. Im sure regardless of his useless disclaimers a civil lawsuit will ensue.

I am not sure if the Feds have been contacted about this it would be interesting to see if they would even look into a case like this or if they would have to wait until charges are filed.

I have to Say thanks again Sam for this site. This is really the only one out there where we can discuss this topic openly lets all try to respect for what he has to Say and use this opportunity to our advantage.

  37. While I really think he's a lying scumbag, don't hold your breath on Adam Montana getting prosecuted. Unfortunately, being a lying scumbag isn't in and of itself illegal. As for the VIP sales, unless he's handling other people's money for the things he's selling, that's not illegal. He's charging a fee to listen to his thoughts and opinions. His thoughts and opinions that are wrong and happen to enrich him, but still, he can charge for people to listen to him. He can charge for explaining how to (illegally attempt to evade taxes) make certain transactions overseas, offer to provide security etc... but unless he's collecting FROM THE INVESTORS that's not illegal, even if the brokers-providers of service he is referring VIP subscribers to are paying him a fee for the business.

Same goes for (name your own guru here). Being an asshat on the internet isn't illegal. Now the dealers, they have several problems. First among them is even though they went and registered with the Treasury as Money Service Businesses, none of them that I know of registered with any states, and 46 states I think require that. You get fined per transaction in many states, from a few hundred a pop to $1,000 per transaction in Illinois. Big trouble. Another thing, while the Treasury Money Service Business doesn't really entitle you to do much, is does prevent you from doing a lot of things, like promoting your legal business transactions (currency exchange) as investments (exchanging currency that you imply will go up in value). When you cross the line into investment advice, you have to have a Series 7 or other permit, and again, you usually need a state issued one as well. I think those regulations are why the one guy fled to the UK, and I also think it explains the whole Guru culture. Some of the dinar dealers realized they couldn't long get away with the crazy pumping, but if an unaffiliated oil rig pilot wannabe lying dirtbag from Oklahoma starts a cult because he say's he knows GW Bush and it's gonna RV @$30 per dinar on Monday....well, hey, we don't control him. (the payments he received, if any, are for other things)

And who's to say that the Gurus are just dirt stupid, and the guys feeding them intel are people farther up the Dinar Smuggling chain just lying to them, the gurus being dumb enough to believe it? Anyone remember Shotgun Suzy? I have heard she honestly believed the crap she spouted, some guy with a middle east accent talked to her on the phone every day and she believed him. Never underestimate stupid. Of course, I've also theorized that the more bizarre gurus are just shills for the more 'realistic' ones, and let's face it, JohnnyWG sure makes Brietling look sane.... We just don't know, excpet we do know that they are every one of them full of crap, either for the money they can make at it, or just because they're not as smart as a bowling ball.

  38. Wow, now that was a read. Did it RV while I was reading (that's right it did 1166 from 1170)? ROFL! I'm sure glad it only took me a year to figure this train wreck out. It still blows my mind that folks have been in this for 7 years and didn't take the 1400 to 1170 RV. WOW! Where is my face palm?

These are the three legal definitions of fraud typically used for legal purposes for cases like this:

    1. a fraud is an intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual; the related adjective is fraudulent.

2, Wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.

    3. A person or thing intended to deceive others, typically by unjustifiably claiming or being credited with accomplishments or qualities.

Notice the word "deception". If an Individual knowingly lies and tells you that they are a Harvard Graduate, That they hold a series 65 license which would enable them to act an investment advisor (even though your not asking for it, nor is he giving any) and that they profited off of a similar situation in Iraq which was the RV of the Kuwaiti Dinar not to mention the personal contacts they have in Iraq and because of that you put some trust in him and forked over the VIP money. That person is using deception for personal gain. It does not get any clearer than that.

Remember that his disclaimer does not say that he is blatantly lying about names and credentials or that he is trying to deceive you (which it should). It just clears him if someone for example buys $100,000 worth of Dinar or sets up other accounts based on his "words of wisdom" or anyone else's posts on DV and thus try's to come back at him.

its important that we separate his false credentials with his advise or posts. His false credentials are the intent to deceive not so much his posts. Even though its bogus thats is a separate issue.

If Wolf was as smart as he claims he just should of said he had a network of contacts in Iraq (like other Guru's do) and left it at that but he got greedy and took it to the next level.

Now we have established that their was intent to deceive. The second someone hands over a penny to him because of the credentials he claims he has he immediately becomes liable if they are false. The plaintiff will have to make it clear they joined specifically because of "who" Adam Montana was not by what his posts say, its a fine line.

Will this ever come to the surface? I hope so.

I don't know why any attorney would take this guy on unless they knew that when he loses they would get a great payout.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Well, the funny thing is, the closest he has come to breaking the law is wrapped around the claim of a Series 65. Again, if he took anyone's money to invest for them (not just to sell them VIP access) he's in big trouble, but just claiming he has one, and selling VIP isn't going to be a problem. Is it skirting the law? Sure, is anyone gonna prosecute him for that? Not a chance. Bigger fish to fry. The SEC itself can take action, but they can't bring criminal charges, the worst they could do would be suspend the license if he has it or bar him from getting one if he doesn't.

Also, if he is claiming to have a Series 65 in offers to handle investments, he has to show it if asked.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I just tried to log into the dinar vets website just to see if any of this is making a difference on the site, but to no avail I received a message which stated I was not allowed on the website. The amusing part of the situation is I have never posted on that site and have maybe, maybe visited it 10 times. Some real class acts over there, banning someone for their feelings being hurt, which didn't even occur on that site.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I suspect that he may have more problems than the simple definition of fraud relative to his representations of himself, his degrees, accomplishments, etc. His statements and tone have changed dramatically from several years ago, but many people who have been around for a while still have records of earlier claims. His disclaimers of late have been more detailed and more frequent, but that doesn't necessarily absolve him of responsibility. A person can "say" one thing, and "infer" something entirely different. You can be sure that his thousands of followers put much more faith in his personal opinions that the Dinar will RV and that they'll become extremely wealthy than they do in his disclaimer that it "could" RD or that they "could" lose their money. They're not paying big money each month for VIP, RV notifications, books, etc. for any other reason than that they believe what he says. Disclaimers don't mean much when a look at the larger picture reveals something entirely different.

He claims to have obtained a Series 65 license, and that is not particularly difficult to do. Anyone can do that by passing a relative simple multiple choice exam. I'm pretty sure that his VIP Service was sold to members well before he obtained that low level advisors license, and I'm also fairly certain that it doesn't permit him to offer financial advice in every State. The fact that the site has members in virtually every State, and even many other COUNTRIES, may raise an entirely different set of issues. The internet crosses virtually every State and International boundary, and is therefore subject to the laws of every unique jurisdiction within those boundaries.

What will be even more interesting is what an extensive investigation may reveal about the "network" involved in a particular fraud, and how many different participants may be involved WITH a particular individual. There are Federal RICO laws which "might" be applicable depending upon what is uncovered, as well as countless State and International laws. Once people begin filing complaints, things could become very interesting. I've been told that there are already some very angry people out there, and we haven't even seen any action or lack thereof on the Dinar yet.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Well said Leg, dinar sites that pump and have promo codes for dealers most likely will fall under RICO and violate some SEC rules, but will we ever see any prosecutions? Personally, (IMO) I'll bet that most of these guys will just end up in civil courts pay fines and get a slap on the wrist, but at least there are sites like this and http://www.iraqidinarmoney.com/ that will keep good records for the people that pursue that avenue. I for one don't feel to sorry for people that blindly follow advice when money is involved, but the law provides protection for those who maybe older and gullible. I'm sure we'll see ,with all these baby boomers retiring., that the Dinar will not be the first get rich scheme used by charlatans and snake oil sales men on the elderly. I do think that the moderators and Guru's on these sites are just as liable if they are compensated in any fashion (free VIP). It's going to get fun in the next few months. Strap in and enjoy the ride when all these sites try doing damage control when we are still sitting here in December. LOL!

  44. Sam, isn't it odd that the attorney who posted on DinarFacts tried to dissociate Adam Montana - World Money Portal from James Wolf was also the attorney for this guy? Yet the two had nothing to do with each other? What a conincidence.

  47. Not here to defend "Adam" - and although his actions so far are no doubt scummy, from a legal standpoint--- to date--- [this is the key phrase here] he hasn't done anything illegal.

One also has to admit that his site is probably one of the most frequented and "professionally" operated boards out there- devoid of religious influence[s] and totally crazy [daily] rumors.

People that paid for VIP are expecting services after the [supposed] RV-- if/when something does happen, this will be the point in time to see if "Adam" provides, or mysteriously disappears.

Until that time- be it RV or RD, I liken him to no better than your auto mechanic who charges a fee for resetting your car computer after work has been done- when you could have done it yourself [if one knew the right button[s] to push]

I don't have dinar but have family members that do- and just for shits and giggles have visited some dinar sites. Admittedly the whole thing is a farce.

But I do like to keep things in perspective :)

    1. Its pretty evident that "Adam" or James Wolf has been misrepresenting himself in order to make a profit. All it would need is for a group of a hundred or so very angry VIP members to file a civil suit. Also don't forget the claims he makes about himself in order to sell the book. I understand it seems like a long shot but the longer this drags on (no RV) the more frustrated Dinar holders will become. When people realize that the majority of the Dinar "Hype" is a scam, they will start to ask more questions about the scammers that are behind it.

    2. Hi A.L. Thanks for visiting and commenting. I agree that "Adam" might not have committed any crime. That's up to the authorities to determine. But the VIP membership was largely sold on the belief that Adam is a sophisticated, educated, well-connected business professional rather than an uneducated former porn site owner/operator. Adam claims that he has negotiated the best rates for his VIP members, knowing full well that bankers consider the dinar a scam. He used the possibility of a 70% lottery tax to scare people into joining VIP. He claims that he has VIP members with a million dollars invested in the dinar. He claims to have a legal secret plan to sneak our revalued dinar into Belize. He claims that he has a contact at the CBI that he met with in Dubai. He claims that he has confirmation that the new lower denoms have already been printed and are in storage in or around Baghdad.

Continuing with your mechanic analogy, Adam has presented himself as a certified mechanic with his credentials hanging on the wall while telling people about his years of experience even working on exotic foreign cars when in reality he's nothing more than a shadetree mechanic who only knows enough to be able to rip off his customers.

According to the Dinar Vets site there are (or used to be, anyway) 1,000 VIP members. At $17/mo that comes to roughly $200K/yr. Add to that advertising revenues, book sales, and revenues from post-RV products & services and you can see how the simple mechanic analogy starts to fall apart. And I have a feeling that there's still more to uncover.

  48. Here is Adam's (James) most recent explanation of what is happening with a redenomination...it really is sad that he is misleading people to such a degree. Adding notes has nothing to do with a redenomination...it is now and always has been the replacement of a currency with a new currency with a different value. And this is the guy that says he went to Harvard?? He couldn't spell Cat if you spotted him the c and the a....enjoy his explanation:

They can't RV without also adding more Denominations. Since there are no 1's 5's or 10's in existence, they wouldn't be able to make change if you bought a loaf of bread UNLESS they used USD, which they don't want to do.

Perhaps I can clear it up by explaining this - when I say "ReDenominate", I really mean "Add More Denominations". Eventually all of the 25,000 notes will be pulled out of circulation, just like the old USD 1000 note.

    Follow along here:

If they simply ReDenominate, that is a 0 gain, 0 loss situation. They trade 25,000's for the new 25 and nobody wins. (Except the ink, paper, and printing companies  )
If they devalue the dinar, we lose money.
If they improve the value, we make money.
If they improve the value, they will need a way to make change for small purchases, ergo they must eventually ADD more denominations or stop using the Iraqi Dinar.

I usually just use the word "Redenominate" because most people understand what that word means - "new currency". They CAN redenominate without also lopping, but in most situations Keepm is correct - a ReDenomination would usually accompany a lop.

I think it makes more sense to raise the value and simultaneously introduce new denominations. The pessimistic lopsters out there will say this can "never" happen. To them, I say "find a new hobby, your crabbiness makes you look fat." ;)

    Hope that helps!

  49. Thanks for the humor of the evening! That was actually funny, yet sad at the same time, unless it is not ignorance at all, which based on the stories he already has told about his riches on the "Kuwaiti RV" and his Harvard education, his credibility is officially and irreversibly tarnished. I would say that James is no doubt being intentionally dishonest now.

  50. It looks like a major investigation is about to unfold. As a huge target you put yourself out there for scrutiny. The Dinar has been portrayed as the biggest Internet scam of our time and the news community is now starting to unravel the web of deception. Some of the most noteworthy investigators are on the hunt right now. Sit back and watch this unfold. It ought to be interesting...

  51. I have been reading this blog a bit today, just found it. Have invested in to the dinar for the last few years. Have stayed away from the guru's and hype for about a year. Just read articles and such. Pay attention to general politics, what the UN, IMF, and World Bank are doing. Paying attention to the Iraqi economy and oil export growth. Seems to me we are still a ways away from anything changing but with that said it would seem to me there would be some kind of plan to bring iraq back onto the world stage again, make them a central player in the overall mideast economy, showcasing them as a thriving democracy that can be achieved amidst all the dictatorships. The people would then "revolt" and demand democracy and this would be a catalyst to changing the culture and mindset of the young people away from jihad and onto personal success and achievement. in the process of iraq rising and shining as this example they would have to become an economic powerhouse to achieve this and have their potential completely unleashed. it would seem to me that going from just shy of 2 mbpd to 5 or 8 or even 10 mbpd in a few years to a decade, plus exploiting gold, natural gas, agriculture, and their human capital as being on the right road to achieve this. Yes, they are still a ways off. But it seems like they are on their way. As their debt load decreases daily, their revenue and economic growth increases daily, and foreign investment increases, it seems that their currency would follow suit. Yes, amount of currency existing is certaintly a critical factor in the equation. The question i keep asking myself is beyond freeing the Iraqi's from the brutal dictator and freeing up their natural resources that were being held hostage why did we truly go there for as long as we did and invest what we invested into that country and continue to invest into them if there wasnt going to be some kind of real long-lasting return on that investment? So, i say all this to ask....Do u really believe that even with the dinar floating down from 4000IQD to present day 1166 IQD to 1 USD, that there isnt a plan, even if it will take 10-20 more years to achieve, to help elevate Iraq to the highest potential (for the reasons stated above) and in the process this would elevate the currency as well? Separating from the guru's, experts, and such i still believe in this. We see currencies get devalued and revalued all the time. We have not seen anything like what is being speculated on here in our lifetime. but we also have never seen an investment made into a country like the US has made into iraq and we in our lifetimes have never before seen a moment in time like now where something like this is actually needed. To me that interesting timing is also more than a coincidence. This is long, and i maybe naive....but deep in my gut i still believe there is something at the end of this rainbow. Why else would the US have made this investment and why else would the president of the US sign an executive order making it legal to buy their currency, invest in their country, and actually encourage us to do so? That is too peculiar. Hope to hear some replies to my thoughts....

    1. Thanks for visiting. There may very well be a geopolitical strategy in play with Iraq. I'm almost certain of that as there's plenty of evidence to suggest such a plan, and that would answer your question "why would the US have made this investment?". The question for us is will it bring a substantial increase in the value of the IQD that investors hold? Given the history of revaluations and redenominations that's doubtful. As for EO 13303 making it legal to buy their currency, I think you should read it. It says nothing about money or the dinar.

  53. Hi Sam, It was not clear to me how old is Adam? 53 or 35?
Is there a formal website that will explain to all dinar believer the fact that no one became a millionaire from the Kuwait Dinar?
Sam, How do I file a complaint on Adam Montana?
    Thanks

    1. "Adam" is 36 and will be 37 in a few weeks. The best site that I know of to explain the Kuwaiti RV is Iraq Currency Watch. I don't know how to file a complaint on Adam. You'll need to ask somebody else about that.

  54. Hey Sam. So I realize that this is a very late comment, but if it makes a difference I am James David Wolfs daughter, Nyah. All of this information is completely correct- including the domestic violence jail time which was, by the way, to my mother.
Anyhow, you seem to know a lot about my father, and I am actually trying to change my custody to my brother since my father is unstable and currently divorcing my step mother. He does at the moment live in Greenville and work for JDPM (Jay Dubb Property Management) and I have seen several scams that hes done to people. Continuing, I was wondering if you could provide me any useful information that my brother and I could bring to court. THIS COULD END (or at least publicly notify) his acts! The sooner I could get a response, the better. I highly appreciate your report.
*if it helps, he is 40 years old and is married to CPA Jennifer Jean Wolf.
    Thank you!

    1. Hello. I don't really have any more information on him than what I posted. My suggestion would be that you either go to a judge or the FBI with this information and the information in my post about the Dinar Scam. http://dinardouchebags.blogspot.com/2013/05/scam.html If you want to communicate further you can email me at dinardouchebags@yahoo.com. Good luck.
