Douchie for April 8-14

This was a hectic week with the discovery of the videos that gave us a positive ID on Adam Montana and the furor that ensued.  I didn't have the usual amount of time to listen to and read through the typical guru BS.  From what I did see there really wasn't much going on.  The only thing that jumped out at me was Enorrste's response to American Contractor's comments on the suspension of the deleting of the zeros.

These gurus have been telling us for two years that "deleting the zeros" means removing the larger notes in preparation for the RV.  In fact some gurus claim that the 000 notes are all gone.  Now suddenly we hear that they're putting the "delete the zeros" program on hold?  Does that make sense?  They removed them and then decided not to remove them?

But enough about the news.  Let's get back to the Douchie.  I'm not going to address the discussion about the CBI and the GOI and who has the constitutional authority to do what.  I'll leave that for conference call debates.  What I want to focus on is the RV hype.

Enorrste: The CBI is ON RECORD that the RV will raise the value of the IQD to about $1 per dinar, and that the rate will rise gradually up until September, at which time the new currency will be issued to coincide with the existing currency.

Caca del toro!  The CBI never said they were going to RV to $1.  They have clearly stated numerous times that they will re-denominate.  If they achieve parity with the dollar it will be done with a lop and
a subsequent or perhaps simultaneous RV of roughly 16%.

Enorrste: The money supply will not rise. In fact it will fall dramatically. Not only have most of the large notes already been withdrawn (Shabibi stated so) but the few that remain will disappear after the $1 RV, probably in the near future. By September there will be no large notes left.

Caca del toro de nuevo!  Shabibi never stated that most of the large notes have been withdrawn.  This is the same claim that won a Douchie for Randy Koonce last week.  And if deleting the zeros means removing the large notes from circulation, and if they have already removed most of them, then what sense does it now make to say that you're not going to remove them?  What?  Are they giving them back now?

Enorrste: The currency, per their own press conference, will consist of 1 to 100 dinar notes, with values of about $1 per dinar. Therefore the money supply will DROP from the current 25 trillion dinars to about 25 billion dinars

Um .... how ya gonna go from 25 trillion to 25 billion without a lop, guy?

Enorrste: AC is mistaken and needs to do his homework before bloviating

Enorrste then went on to berate American Contractor, claiming that he was more concerned about his reputation that he was about the truth.   Are you for real, E?  You consistently distort what is coming out of Iraq and then accuse others of not caring about the truth?  You subject us to these countless filibusters and then you accuse AC of bloviating?  And if anybody needs to check their homework it's you, amigo.  Remember a few months ago when you said that when Iraq's oil production doubles their oil revenues would go up to $1.82 trillion a year?   It would only be $182 billion a year.  Your math is as bad as Adam Montana's.

In my time as a dinarian there is nobody who has proven more credible than American Contractor.  People have been bashing him for years, saying Iraq will RV and he doesn't know what he's talking about.  So far he's been right and his critics have been wrong.  Especially Enorrste with his silly little conspiracy nut RV book, complete with references to the Mossad and Operation Rainbow.  So congrats to Steve "The Professor" Norris, a.k.a. Enorrste for winning his first Douchebag Award, although a Windbag might have been more appropriate.

4/16/12 ... UPDATE!!!  Steve decided to delete all of his comments and screw up the thread, but my readers are pretty smart.  One of them had the presence of mind to take a few screenshots of Steve's comments and he sent them to me this morning.  Thanks callingfoolsout!

  2. If Iraq doubles their oil production, the resulting increase in supply could easily drop the price of oil to half it's current value, which would net them exactly zero (well, a little less as it would cause their expenses to rise). Is this guy supposed to be an economist?

    1. Steve,
Hello.... This is Proteus, I am the administrator of ReValue.us, also I am friends with Kaperoni and Russell, they have been on my CC's before... just simply put, I do not think we've had the opportunity to speak directly...

I would like to personally Invite you to be my Guest on ReValue, on one of our Wednesday Conference Calls to set the record straight...

I think hearing your perspective directly is more important than 3rd hand news, we feel that everyone's opinion and perspective in the community is very important, as it broadens the foundation of our knowledge base, and as such allows all members of our community to formulate their own opinions concerning this investment and having your valued perspective is one thing I believe that community deserves to hear directly from you, not from the tabloids...

      Please contact me at: proteus@revalue.us
So we can schedule you being my guest on an upcoming Conference call...

Thanks so much for you time and consideration of this honest invitation,
      BEST WISHES,
      Proteus

    2. If you're Steve a.k.a. The Professor a.k.a. Enorrste it was you. It was a conference call with Kaperoni and TenMillion and JayP back in November. I was listening when you said it, Steve. I transcribed it myself. You said they're going to double their production from 2.5 to 5 million barrels a day.

    1. The CBI says you are a liar. The CBI specifically states that all dinar that have been redeemed (that means bought back) are accounted for in the figures they post.

You might be right that the dinar that left Iraq will never come back. Not for the rediculous notion that you mention... but if and when the redenomination does take place Iraq may lock down on currency re-entering the country. Rendering it worthless.

    3. Nonsense… any notes that have been bought back from the CBI are no longer considered in circulation, so they are not included in the figure posted. 32 Trillion dinar are currently in circulation per the CBI. Many articles lately have also backed that up by stating 30 trillion.

  9. You're reading too much into it and then telling people what they want to hear. It says, "The Iraqi Central Bank announced the completion of the PLAN to remove three zeros..." They are only saying they completed the PLAN, NOT the plan is completed. They just now know how they will remove the zeros, as in the actual zeros on the notes, NOT the removal of denominations which have the zeros.

  10. How can you say they printed the NEW lower denominations in 2003 when they have just recently stated they were discussing what the NEW lower denominations would look like and what they would say? Look it up. It's there.

    1. Not only that but they also want the 3 languages on them so no they haven't printed them on 2003. When they redenominate they will print all new currency with the 3 languages on them as they have stated over and over and over

      Delete
    7. I will give you this much Steve. There was a set number of different currencies printed in 2003 and there is a discrepancy between the number printed and the number introduced. So one will assume this is where you and many others are getting the "the lower denominations were printed in 2003". The problem lies in the fact no one knows which denominations were not issued, but at this point in the game, it does not matter. They have stated time after time they will issue a new currency making what was printed in 2003 and not issued obsolete. Why release something made in 2003, which will NOT have the new look nor the new languages on it, along with the new currency?

Ok, again you bring us an article which states they will go from 30 trillion to, without putting pen to paper but just guessing based off that which is stated about "deleting zeros", to something close to 30 billion. In addition to the statement of, " " asserting that "the currency exchange will not affect the per capita income or wealth, or its contractual obligations. " which tells us when they delete the zeros, our 25,0000 note will be worth 25. Based on the later part of the brought article, they will print a new 25 dinar.

    7. Shabibi never said they will revalue their currency and then redenominate, much less said he will revalue to a dollar. This part of the arguement is moot based solely on the fact Shabibi never said it. BEST case scenario, they redenominate and over time they increase the exchange rate to somewhere close where those of us who still own dinar can break even or maybe, MAYBE make a miniscule to small profit. Hopefully the statement they made of the new currency and the old to coincide for a year or so holds true to give them the time raise the rate AFTER they redenominate, or remove the zeros.

      Delete
    10. It actually does not say it WILL RAISE the value, rather it says it WILL LEAD TO raising the value. Should they raise the rate over the stated two year period AFTER they redenominate, then deleting the zeros WILL LEAD TO raising the value.

Unless of course your main reason for coming here is to try and convince everyone here, yours and kaps, which is now CLEARLY evident only knows what you tell him, and this al-Bakri fellas opinions are right and are the only option avaliable to Iraq. Then yes, you are wasting your time. I appreciate you coming here and debating with us and showing us your point of view. I don't agree with it and many others here won't either, but at least you came here and voiced it.

Oh and in the above symposium, your al-Bakri fella doesn't say removing the zeros means "bringing in the larger notes". He simply states a revaluation, but considering the amount of dinar currently in circulation his "example" above would mean after the rv, Iraq would have more money floating around than the world combined. This is not going to happen and puts al-Bakri's scenario in a "suspect" class.

    3. Not sure what your point here is. This just talks about studies and principles of deleting the zeros. Yes the title says the bank has completed 50% of the project to delete the zeros but it doesn't state anything in the article itself other than studies and principles. Now taking the title and putting it with the context of the article, completing 50% of the project probably just means the bank had a "bullet list" of tasks to do, like compile numbers or gather info on account statuses and so on and had only had completef 50% of what they needed to even come up with the plan to delete the zeros, which subsequently, yes you're right, Parliament did finally aprove BUT ONLY after 2 1/2 years of the bank dragging their feet to finally completing that "bullet list".

    1. Your first paragraph here is pretty ridiculous. You are wrong.....very wrong. I foresee many more awards coming your way. The CBI has stated a 1000:1 exchange many times and that they will coexist until rd is complete. THAT'S HOW REDENOMINATIONS WORK GENIUS!!!!!!!

It's clear you get kickbacks to spew out this garbage you call research. Again you are part of the get team which besides okie are probably the laughing stock of the dinar world and you responses here prove it. There's a reason why you recieved this award and you are showing it. Just stop now cause the hole you're digging is getting deep

    2. "In 2010, the Central Bank of Iraq announced their plans to redenominate the Iraqi Dinar to ease cash transactions. The intention would be to drop three zeros from the nominal value of bank notes; but the actual value of the dinar would remain unchanged. That would mean that 1,000 IQD (pre-redenomination) and 1 dinar (post-redenomination) would both be worth the same amount in US Dollars."

      http://www.xe.com/currency/iqd-iraqi-dinar?r=6#additionalinfo

True, it doesn't say that 25K old will become 25 new, but it does say that 1,000 IQD pre-denom will become 1 dinar post-denom. I think most people can do the math.

  39. Ok, so they will be taking in the large denoms and destroying them right? Why would they destroy 25K notes that will soon be worth 25 thousand dollars? Seems like a waste of money.

And to the evidence of the contracts. Why can't you provide it to me? I think that would cause anyone on here to rethink their position. It may not change the position, but it would certainly provide a great deal of validity to your argument.

    1. You really think this guy has proof of his made up lie of contracts. If he did he would have just shown it by now cause that right there would be all he have to do to make his fantasy real

      Delete
    2. No. I would think that if he did he would have shown them by now. I also think that he wouldn't be the only guru in dinar land to have their hands on it either. If proof of those contracts existed the price of dinar would skyrocket based on the impending RV.

      Delete
    3. Exactly. This guy just needs to stop. He's embarrassing himself

    4. Also according to Steve it does not matter if the CBI is telling the world they are RVing because they don't care what us speculators hold and that they have a plan. What a joke

      Delete
  40. And think about this. An Iraqi walks into a store with a 25K dinar the day after the RV and buys a soda for 1 dollar. Is the store clerk supposed the hand the guy 24,999 dollars worth of dinar in change?

Or what about this scenario. An Iraqi guy walks into a store and spends a 25K note on a tank of gas and a loaf of bread. The following day the dinar RV's. Had the Iraqi guy waited just one day he could have bought himself a brand new car and a hooker with the same 25K note. You think Iraq is bad now. There would be massive riots and bloodshed if that happened.

  42. DETAILS ARE NOT IMPORTANT NOW FOR THOSE THAT BELIEVE. Says Bulldog75 in Okie Oilman chat. LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Since Steve has removed all his posts, I am not sure if he is claiming that "The USA will redeem Dinar into the Treasury and/or Federal Reserve, then use those dinar as credits to buy oil from Iraq"

If you're not, well none of this applies. If you are, you're wrong, and here's just a few reasons why....

First, the treasury, the fed, of the government doesn't buy oil for industry. Aside from the normal usage for government entities and the National Strategic Reserve, the government doesn't buy any oil, and the oil purchased for the Strategic Reserve, by statute, has to be domestically produced.

Second, all oil is not alike, Texas Light Crude is not Saudi Sweet Crude, etc... and oil refineries are very specialized processing facilities. Think of the turmoil that happens twice a year when some states change blends of gasoline for environmental reasons. The fact is, the refineries in the USa are for the most part only capable of processing US, Canadian, Mexican and Venezuelan crude. There are some on the west coast that process middle east oil, but it's a very small component of the US usage. Middle East oil goes mostly to Europe and Asia.

And finally, for now, do some math. Iraq's M2 is roughly 60 trillion dinar. Don't fall into "notes in circulation" because you can't revalue the currency without revaluing the funds in banks, electronic accounts, transfer accounts and other funds that don't physically exist but are still part of the money supply. As a pegged currency, the CBI needs to have hard currency reserves to back at least a ratio of the stated value of the money supply. If you think about it, the "official" rate of the dinar, or any currency, is how much in dollars (euro, yen, yuan, pounds sterling, what have you) they will redeem their notes for. Of course, this means that they have to have that amount there in order to pay all comers who wish to cash in. Iraq has, last I remember, $65 billion. A very simplified way to look at it is take all the money supply and divide it by the reserves. The reserves are the sum total of the liquid wealth of Iraq, the value of the dinar is just how it's divided up. For the currency to appreciate, they have to increase those reserves. (as a side note, this also illustrates the myth that a higher value is good for the people of Iraq. A higher rate means they are willing to exchange more of their reserves, moving that wealth out of Iraq, for any dinar anyone wants to cash in. The higher the rate, the higher the cost to Iraq. You have to get the money to make dinaridjits rich from somewhere, and that somewhere is Iraq)

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yeah, I've wondered about how an RV would help the typical Iraqi citizen. I think we can all agree that they are poor and it's more than probable that they have little to no savings. I mean, what's their average annual income, 5 thousand dollars? So what is their income after the RV? It would be 5 thousand dollars right? The only Iraqi citizens that would benefit from the RV are those who have excess dinar, and that's if they don't get killed and robbed by their neighbors after the RV.

      Delete
  44. Now, back to the math, if Iraq RV's at $3, that means that if everyone holding dinar wants to cash them in, CBI needs to come up with $180 trillion dollars. That's not just an absurd figure, it's more money than exists globally, 12 years of the US GDP, enough to buy every ant in South America a BMW, insert your crazy example here.... But even assuming that money in those quantities existed, how much is the sum total of oil sales across international borders in a given year? Iraq is gonna pay this all with oil money, right? So, the top ten users of crude oil collectively use 90% of the total, about 50 million barrels a day. A hundred dollars a BBl is $5 billion a day TOTAL USAGE plus the rest of the world makes it $5.5 billion...that a little more than $5 trillion annual oil revenue from all countries to all countries. So assuming Iraq puts the rest of the world out of business, and supply every drop of oil on the market, it would take every dollar of their oil revenue for 90 years to fund the $3 RV. Nothing left over to pay their government, for the rest of their economy, no paychecks for workers, it's all gotta go towards taxes and fees related to financing the CBI money supply.

I could go on for hours on this stuff, and if Sam will send me a pm or something I'll give him my real name and stuff so he can verify I'm qualified to speak on this. (No I won't make it public, I'm not selling anything or asking anyone for a dime, so screw you, I can do without the foolishness you open yourself up to when you put your personal information on the internet).

The point is, y'all talking about some big RV of the dinar are making slightly less sense than UFO Abductees going on about anal probes. And you're damn near as funny. The Dinar will be reissued and the new value will be give or take $1.17. You'll have to exchange your old notes with three zeros for new ones without, so yes, a 10,000 dinar note will be the same as a 10 dinar note. Over the course of a few years, maybe 5-7 years, the rate will settle down to about dollar parity IF (big IF) the country doesn't erupt into chaos, war, flamboyant homosexual political demonstrations or whatever....

    Y'all been had. Nuff Said!

  46. WOW... I was not online for the better part of the day yesterday, so I did not see this post, but boy did this post stir a debate or what!!?? LOL!!! 133 Comments so far!

Sam, great post, but it seems I have a LOT of catching up to do to see what the comments were. In just scrolling through, I do see that this "Steve" deleted all of his comments. I am assuming that this was Enorrste aka. "The Professor". I have never seen him use this "Professor" term, but giving yourself a name like that is about douchebag worthy as it comes.. lol!!!

Without reading the comments yet though, I am curious if anyone asked about the non-refundable post-RV party deposits that were taken by the site that he owned with his 2 partners. What ever happened, or came of that money?

Well, I guess, I will be reading for a bit trying to get up to speed on this debate.. lol!

He's been wrong for nearly 3 years now that I know of, and this stream of responses was even MORE wrong than usual. He might get away with that nonsense on the G.E.T. team's site, but not here. Nice job once again Sam. If more people would make the effort to come and read this blog, the Dinar house of cards would collapse fairly quickly. Montana must be sweating bullets by now. It's a common theme here in dinar land. People come here to try and defend their position and they end up making themselves look worse.

    2. callingfoosout.. it is one thing to come in and defend your position, in fact I appreciate a good debate, especially when we can get to the facts, and in this case, it would appear we can see who clearly made the valid arguments that were able to be supported, but it is another thing when people like Enorrste then goes ahead and deletes their posts because they wanted to try and hide how incredibly, and irresponsibly wrong as was the case with Enorrste here.

Good job, and good thinking in advance with copying those posts by the way! Thank you. That is a pretty good way to identify a professional pumper though, because a person can be wrong about an opinion, that can happen understandably, but a professional pumper would never want to have a trace of evidence out there that proves them wrong, as it hurts whatever agenda they are trying to achieve. That would most likely explain why he deleted his posts.

You have a history of pumping and lying. You get posts deleted to cover your tracks and you are always on damage control.

When you admit Adam and med are frauds we can begin. I know more than you think I do. You keep denying your other fight with med that happened a few months ago as well when many dv members read your rant about med and his wife laughing at its members at how gullible they are. You deleted that thread and claim to only have 1 past beef with him which you and I know is not true and I have proof of many things you claim as false. Adam Montana is scamming people out of their money with his VIP membership and ebook. And I find it highly, highly unlikely that Sonny knows nothing of this.

He makes the attempt to come into "hostile" territory to be the "stand up" guy and state his opinions and answer questions. Even though he stops posting on one post and we move on to another which doesn't pertain to him, doesn't mean he can just pick back up posting on the new ones like nothing ever happened previously. 68. Hi Sam, I thank you so much for all you research.
I invested in the dinar 8 years ago but it was only recently that I became suspicious about the whole thing, what triggered that suspicion was all the BS I kept on reading from Adam Montana.
Now I find my self having to tell others, whom are in and deeply invested in this scam.
Sam what do you know about a website call: Iraqi News? this is a website that has to be translated to English. The reason why I ask is that dinar victims are claiming TRUST in the news they received because is NOT coming from Adam Montana but instead it is a neutral source of info.

I don't read much dinar news myself, but when I do it's usually from a western news organization rather than an Arabic one. IBN seems like a legit publication to me, although I prefer to go by things like IMF documents, DOJ documents, CBI financial statements, and time honored principles of economics - all of which contributed to my current views on this "investment".

By the way, are you "carlablum" at Dinar Vets?

I did see in the Iraqi News that they made fun of dinar investment although I was talking about the Arabic one. I have a friend who is blinded by the investment opportunity and I am NOT able to change that way of thinking despised all the principles of economy. Sad :( I thought that if I could discredit that webside it will help to open the eyes.
No, I am not carlablum on dinar vets, fyi: I never paid them a dime for their VIP membership....I almost did at one point but I did not like to be push around and that is the kind of pressure they were putting on members, creating urgency to be an VIP member to get the most important info on the great fortune that people are about to get...any minute... I rather not say the name just so that I can get the latest on their BS and keep an eye on my friend. I will how ever contact the FBI internet fraud Dept to see if there is anything they can do. 71. I don't know anything about any Arab news organizations. To me they're unreliable and irrelevant.

IMF = International Monetary Fund. They oversee Iraq's monetary issues.
