Douchie for April 1-7

Well this week was kind of a letdown for a lot of dinar hopefuls.  The hangover from drinking the koolaid still hasn't worn off for some.  The big buildup for the Arab summit triggering the RV led to yet another disappointment, but the gurus were out there pumping out new dates and rates as if nothing had happened.  Well ... okay I guess nothing did happen.  But you know what I mean.

4-6-2012 Okie_Oil_Man it took awhile but here is the latest intel reported by impeccable sources--the r/v did occur and it encompassed 11 countries of which the iqd and vnd was 2 of them. They ran tests individually thru the system and was successful. There is still a very strong possibility (know what the word possibility means??) that it will be released when the hawaii banks open today.

Yeah, I know what "possibility" means. Do you know what "impeccable" means? Dictionary.com defines it as "faultless; flawless; irreproachable". Given that definition I would describe your sources as very peccable.

4-6-2012 Bluwolf ALL IS DONE...JUST WANT YOU ALL TO REALIZE THAT YOU WILL BE DECLARED MILLONAIRES WITHIN HOURS.

48 hours and counting .....

4-6-2012  Bluwolf 525 IS NOT A RATE AT ALL, THAT IT IS EITHER A SWIFT OR A MT OR A CURRENCY CODE BUT IT IS NOT A RATE, THE RATES THAT YOU WILL SEE WILL BE OF DOUBLE DIGITS AND VERY HIGH... ALL RATES ARE TO BE LOCKED IN AT 10:15 PM PST TODAY FOR SURE...NOTHING IS HOLDING IT AND NOTHING WILL.

speaking of "very high" .... nah ... too easy!

But what really caught my attention this week was not the typical rate and date stuff from the obviously clueless intel gurus, but flawed analysis from a couple of guru "newshounds" with large followings of people who reject the Okies and Johnnwgs of the dinar world.

On Wednesday Adam Montana served up this jewel:

[Adam Montana] let me make ONE point. Wealth cannot simply "disappear", it can only change hands
[Adam Montana] Iraq was once a VERY wealthy country, with a currency valued at 3X the USD
[Adam Montana] now, you'll hear the l0psters talking about M2, they say you can't simply revalue the currency and gain money, etc etc.... the same goes for DEvaluing the currency. It does not matter how many 0's they have on their bills, it doesn't matter if there's 16 gazillion of these Dinars in circulation, because the notion that their wealth simply "disappeared" 8 years ago is a complete sham
[Adam Montana] it didn't disappear. Iraq still has the same wealth that they did in the past, it's just hidden behind a ridiculously undervalued currency
[Adam Montana] UNDERVALUED. When they FIX that value, the wealth doesn't magically reappear, it is simply re-RECOGNIZED

http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/112643-adams-drive-by-4412

OMG!!! Where to begin?  Iraq was never a wealthy country.  They had a valuable currency, that's true.  But their people were always poor for the most part and their GDP was never terribly impressive.  During the 1970s they experienced a booming economy, but once Saddam took over the reins in 1979 and plunged them into the war with Iran that ended.  The sanctions imposed after Desert Storm led to further economic decay.

Iraq - GDP Per Capita 1950-2008

Wealth disappears all the time.  It's called supply and demand.  Every bear market on Wall Street ends in a reduction of wealth.  Conversely every bull market brings an increase in wealth.  When Iraq's currency depreciated after Desert Storm the demand for their currency declined, so a certain amount of wealth was lost.  By the way, the dinar was valued at 3000 dinar to 1 USD back in 1995, Adam .... 17 years ago instead of 8.  So you're right I suppose.  The notion that Iraq's wealth suddenly disappeared 8 years ago (something the pumpers like to assert when they try to convince you that it can suddenly reappear) is a sham because it didn't happen.  It declined as a result of the sanctions imposed after Desert Storm (and massive government printing) rather than suddenly disappearing as a result of the invasion in 2003 as you stated.

Following your logic every country with an abundance of natural resources (Venezuela and Brazil, for example) that suffers from hyperinflation ends up with an "undervalued" currency.  Why don't they just "FIX" that value so that it can be "re-recognized" rather than re-denominate as Venezuela and Brazil did?  Because you can't, Adam.  No more than you can "unscramble" an egg.  In order to fix the value of the IQD you would have to undo the last 22 years of Iraq's history.  Undo Desert Storm.  Undo the sanctions.  Undo Saddam's massive printing of currency.  Undo the Oil for Food program.  Undo Iraqi Freedom.  Undo the insurgency.  Unless somebody comes up with a time machine that ain't gonna happen.

The dinar's value didn't disappear overnight because of some plot by Dick Cheney and the global elite to steal Iraq's wealth.  It depreciated because of the events that unfolded just like Japan, Germany, and Vietnam's currencies did.  None of those countries "fixed" their currency's value with an RV and Iraq won't either.

By the way, Iraq's currency was never "devalued" as you stated.  Look up the word and you'll see that it's a policy driven reduction in a currency's value.  The dinar's value was driven down by market forces (depreciation), not "devalued" by the CBI.  Geez, I thought you went to Harvard.

And then this from Adam on Thursday:

Iraq has already overcame 99.9% of the hurdles that they needed to get over.   (Has overcame, huh?  Nice grammar there, Mr. Harvard grad.)  They've accomplished what they need to accomplish, and it's now "poop or get off the pot" time...at this time we're looking for the SAME THINGS AS LAST WEEK: (And every other week for the past year) HCL, Chapter 7, RV. It's really that simple. I'm still sticking to my "now to September" timeline.   (As opposed to your "RV by Thanksgiving" timeline from last year?)

http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/112776-adams-official-chat-4512

Also this week Randy Koonce held a post-Arab summit conference call to put his followers at ease.

"All the "three zeros" which drives me up the wall ... when people start talking about the 86 cents ... 1) they don't understand economics 2) they don't understand what's being said in the paper - the "three zeros to be removed" only means to get them off the streets ... you can't remove 70% of a rate, okay?  how do you remove 70% of $.00086?  you don't!  it has to be talking about a physical bill.  It's Shabibi, remember?  He's the guy you listen to, not the other guys. Shabibi's the one who said he had 70% of the bills removed from the streets.  All right?  So those are where you've got to focus.  Keep your eyes on what's real.  Don't get your eyes on things that aren't real.  Okay?"

http://files.thevideochannel.net/uploads/fplayer.php?play=2-378931120404_A.mp3

Okay!  What's real about "Shabibi said he had 70% of the bills removed from the streets?"  When did he say that?  If you're referring to the article where they stated that they had removed 70% of excess liquidity I think you need to study up on what excess liquidity means.  It has nothing to do with pulling in the larger notes.

The CBI currently shows 28 trillion dinar outside of the banks.  At your RV rate of $3.41 that would take the value of the dinar in circulation from about $24 billion to about $82 trillion.  That's more money than most economists believe exists.  Now who doesn't understand economics?

Randy I have always considered you one of the good guys.  Even though I don't agree with your view on the RV I have never had any reason to believe that you are lying or profiting in any way off of the dinar.  But this has me stumped.  Do you really believe that Shabibi stated that they have removed 70% of the large notes?  And if they removed 70% of the three zero notes what did they replace them with?  A buttload of 50s, 250s, and 500s?  If  your response is "US dollars" then why wasn't that reflected in their reserves?  This "70% of excess liquidity"  report came out nearly two years ago.  Are we supposed to believe that the Iraqis have been getting by for nearly two years on nothing but lower denoms and USD?

So this week we have a couple of newshound gurus - Adam Montana and Randy Koonce - sharing the Douchie.  Those of you who have followed this blog for a while know that I consider these "experts" who "explain" the RV as more dangerous than the intel rate and date guys because so many people believe they know what they're talking about.  (Do your own research folks!  IT'S YOUR MONEY!!!)  I hate to award one to Randy since he seems like such a nice guy, but that's the judge's decision.  If Randy can document his claim that Shabibi said they've pulled in 70% of the 000 notes I'll gladly withdraw it.

  1. Thank you for exposing mr "Harvard" "Adam Montana" yet again. It's embarrassing to see his followers worship him the way they do. The guy is clearly a con artist and I can bet he didn't graduate from Harvard, didn't make money on the mythical Kuwait rv, and didn't take or pass a series 65 exam. The guy has a fake name and never has shown any credentials yet people kiss his arse.

    1. Agreed. Adam Montana is a Douche Bag!! I think it's time that Adam be awarded a "Lifetime Honorary Douchie Award" and be recognized every single week for the douche that he is (in addition to the new recipient of course).

    2. A very wise choice of Douchebags. Thanks Sam.

    3. As it happens, I am a Harvard grad, and the name you have earlier mentioned as possibly Adam Montana's true identity isn't in my Alumni Register. That and he can't write on a level to get into Southeast Iowa Community College and has the economic understanding comparable to my wiener dogs grasp of monetary policy makes me doubt his claimed education.

  2. It's clear that Adam Montana is not a real person and there is no degree from Harvard, no formal education in economics, nothing but unbridled greed. The fascination with watching this train wreck occur has worn off and now it's just very, very sad.

While searching for an article I read some time ago which made a good argument that the Iraqi dinar RV "community" had the hallmarks of a cult, I found this interesting forum post from almost nine years ago: http://tinyurl.com/bsf5ow7
From what the poster/site owner wrote, the folks buying into an RV of the Zimbabwean dollar were very much like those buying into the Iraqi dinar RV.

  4. Adam doesn't have basic understanding of economics or even how simple hyper-inflation has an affect on the value of a currency...and this is the guy that people think they can trust with their money?...at least Sonny1 admits that he doesn't know anything...he always refers to his "Dubai economists" for information...of course they are ALWAYS wrong...remember when he said it had to revalue so they could pay GE?...he forgot that they pay in US dollars.

  5. wrong? so something happened? they lopped? revalued? i must of missed it.

  7. Hi Sam Ive deleted my other posts. I think I have found the smoking Gun. A couple of very careless mods at DV have forked over some info to me (one of my many aliases at DV...I have 8 of them) while I have been posting some very innocent questions over the last year. Adams real name is probably James #$%$#. I was in contact with someone who actually had drink with him at a Bar in Neenah WI called "Stars Cabaret" its a strip club by the way. Not 100% yet but more to come.

    2. I think you should repost the Montana trail again so people can see what's up with james....more and more are reading this blog and that thread should get a bump to show these people that their leader is a con artist. Most don't look at archives but the Montana trail along with area52 findings are the smoking gun. Air out this con artist and start on his side kick sonny1 next. They claim to be really good friends amd they share things all the time with one another.....nick is just as guilty as James

    3. callingfoolsout - I'm working on The Montana Trail 3 .... stay tuned. And so far I have turned up nothing on sonny1 except that he has been wrong a few times and knows "Adam". How well he knows him I can't say.

    4. Good I can't wait!!!!!! Well sonny and "Adam" claim to be really great friends and I'm sure "sonny" knows "Adams" real name and situation. So that makes him just as guilty. Keep up the great work sam......

  8. There's never been much doubt that Adam Montana is in fact James Wolf. It's merely been a question of "positively" identifying him, and then somehow bringing it to the attention of more of his own site members. It appears that the needed evidence has now been found. The new goal will be to get it posted on his own site so that more of his faithful followers will finally discover who and what he really is. Then it's merely a matter of people filing complaints with their local, State and Federal prosecutors in order to create the necessary pressure to shut him down.

While it's true that this site now has a fairly substantial following, it would be far more effective if this information is repeatedly posted on Dinar Vets by many of his own members. I suspect that many of his mods would quit upon learning this info, and it would be difficult to continuously delete the posts. Wolf has made a great deal of money at the expense of MANY naive and otherwise innocent people, and I suspect that many of those individuals will be seeking retribution when they discover the truth about Adam Montana. As always, we can only hope.

  9. Adam Montana's latest chat.

[Adam Montana] RD: ReDenomination. This is where they take the current notes (250, 5000, 25000, etc) and add new denominations (like 1,5,10, etc). This is a 0 gain and 0 loss situation without the addition of a change in value.
[Adam Montana] L OP: In a bunny-ear, they simply ignore a specific amount of 0's. If they chop all three 0's off, then a 25,000IQD note is now worth 25. Basically, us investors would just about break even at this point, unless you've held your dinar for a long period of time.

Look at his explanation of what a redenomination is. For anyone who has been around this investment for as long as he has, to still not even understand the basic mechanics of a redenoimination is staggering. He is either a massive idiot or he’s faking ignorance on the subject which makes him a lying con man.
    Take your choice.
    Will Sonny1 correct Adam?

    1. Lol..I emailed Sam this exact thing. When I first read this on dv I couldn't stop laughing. This guy is getting desperate. He knows his con is coming to an end. Of course sonny won't correct him.

    2. If Sonny corrects him we could call it ignorance. If Sonny doesn't correct him we can be pretty sure that Sonny knows Adam is a con man and Sonny is complicit in the con.

  10. why do you guys keep bringing my name up? i am not montana, and i dont speak for anybody else, if you guys think montana is wrong than that is your belief, good for you.
i come to this site in hope for decent dinar debate, and all i get is banged on by my stalker callingfoolsout, (by the way your starting to get real pathetic) and i get blamed for stuff others say, if your going to come at me, come at me for things i say, not others. thats fair, dont ya think? daved you now post on dv, i dont go on and bang on you, do i? no i leave you post your opinion on things and let you be you, i think it is time you guys grow up a tad.
sam has said he has found nothing shady on me and i gave him all my info, because i have nothing to hide, i have 1 dwi in 1998 on my record, i dont make any money off of dv, i never have made any money off of dv, i never plugged vip, in fact i would never myself pay for info, and i have made that clear 20 or so times now. adam is adam, and i am i. i think it is time you guys move on,
because to be honest with you guys, you are starting to sound pretty sad......

  11. Ah sonny, you're always good for a laugh.......thanks

  12. Sonny… I really don’t know much about you or Montana. I’ve never really cared if you’re the same person or not. For the record I will say I doubt you are the same person.
I never went on Dinar Vets very often because I was banned from the site long long ago and had my IP addresses blocked. Could not even read the site, let alone post. Just recently discovered I could see it again, so I signed up and have made a few post. I have pretty much stuck to reading Dinar Daddy’s site because it seemed like a good central location where CRAP from all the other sites would get posted.
My point with this is that Montana’s information in his chat is woefully inaccurate. I would think as a senior member, a respected guru so to speak, you would want to correct such a glaring error. Apparently misinformation being spread does not bother you.
Also… a member, dvforumuser, very politely pointed out Montana’s error and guess what it got him. He’s banished to the lop section.

  13. i will admit, i think his definition of a rd is off, i would also like to thank you daved, you seem to be willing to be less aggressive, and actually chat normally. callingfoolsout, you once again show that you have zero class, i wasnt asking for you to give up a kidney, i was only asking you to stop stalking me, and stop acting like a complete db, but i guess its hopeless....

  14. I do think a lot of more people are on to James and the his gang (that means you too nick) But really Nick , James really can't snowboard too well did you see the vids of the trip this winter? I wonder if someone is going to expose him and his little worker Bees soon. Nick by the way, I saw you guys recently take Care! Maria remember?

  15. i truly have no idea who you are, i haven't seen adam in 2 years this july, i never go out, because i have 3 young kids, and i am not a worker bee, so to be honest, i have no idea who you are

    ReplyDelete
  16. "...and i am i."? Really? Ok so besides your total lack of effort to, at the very least, make yourself sound just the slightest bit educated, you have absolutely no business telling anyone here to grow up Nick. If you don't like what they say about you, then ignore them or TRY to discuss it in a mature way instead of coming back at them like a child yourself. The "he started it" and "poor me" acts are getting old.

On a side note, I hope someone takes what Nick said about James' definition of a redenomination back to dv and posts for all to see.

    ReplyDelete
  17. i actually said in a post over there that i agreed with someone else's explanation of a rd. you know what i am just going to chalk it up to one of those situations that i cant win, i have stalkers, haters, and now girls who i never met saying that she just saw me and adam, though i havent seen adam in almost 2 years now.
so from now on i am just going to post when i dis-agree with most of the people here's lop assessments.
