Iraqi Election

Nouri al-Maliki
For the past four years we've been hearing from the gurus that Maliki is history.  He's going to be run out of office, arrested, assassinated, tortured, or run out of the country.  Supposedly the powers that be (PTB) were tired of him holding up the RV or the GCR or whatever.  In 2010 the election was essentially a tie and the stalemate lasted for eight months.  Almost all of the gurus said that Allawi would prevail.  They were wrong.  Time after time those same gurus told us that Maliki was a crook and wouldn't finish out the year.  They said that in 2011, 2012, and again in 2013.  Wrong, wrong, and wrong.  Now the gurus are telling us that Maliki is seeking a third term in violation of the Iraqi constitution.  I don't know about that since I'm no expert on their constitution or political process, but according to this article the Iraqi supreme court overturned a law limiting the prime minister to two terms.  Regardless, I don't think it really matters where the dinar is concerned.  Maliki or no Maliki this millionaire-creating RV isn't going to happen.

Anyway, we're hearing almost unanimous declarations that Maliki won't win another term in the upcoming election.  He's "in a world of hurt" or he's "toast" or he's "finished" or he's "fighting for his life".  All rubbish.  But the gurus have to have somebody to blame for the fact that this RV hasn't materialized, don't they?  I wrote about this nearly two years ago in "Maliki and the RV".  You see, these guys have made Maliki the scapegoat for years, saying that he is holding up the RV or the GCR or whatever.  So they have to tell their listeners that Maliki won't win another term because if he does we're looking at another four years of Maliki holding up the RV or the GCR or whatever, and who wants to hang around another four years waiting for this thing to pop?

Let me go on record as being neither pro-Maliki or anti-Maliki.  My position is that the guy is probably no better or worse than any other leader would be, but he's obviously a better politician.  He knows how to work the system, and despite all of the problems in Iraq he has managed to keep the country from self-destructing.  So far, anyway.  While I won't make any predictions about the election I will say this .... based on Maliki's track record and the track record of the gurus I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Maliki win and serve a third term as prime minister of Iraq.

If that occurs be prepared to hear more cries of Maliki holding up the RV or the GCR or whatever.  If Maliki doesn't win then be prepared for new non-Maliki-based excuses as to what's holding everything up now.  It's how the gurus roll.

  1. True. As long as people are paying good money to purchase dinar or VIP memberships, there always will be an excuse why the RV hasn't occurred. A clown saying, "I don't know" is akin to admitting the RV is a scam. Whether it's Maliki, Turkii, Legarde, Obama, Nujafi, Madam Wu, Basel III, HCL, tariffs, the budget, WTO, World Bank or the IMF, someone or something will continue to get the blame until this fraud flames out or the scammers are exposed.

    1. the scammers have BEEN exposed. problem is, the sheeple refuse to believe it because the scammers use religion to reel the sheep in then keep them there.

  2. Agreed Sam. And let's not forget the usual annual "OMG. It's going to happen on Easter Monday!" pumping, and then when Tuesday comes round, they'll act like they never said it and that it has no negative impact on what's remaining of their credibility...

  3. On the money, pun intended. I just laugh at so much of this. It will not happen while Maliki is PM say many of these dopes, many of whom I might add, were predicting he would never, ever finish out his term.
Since these guys are so entertaining, I’m finding it hilarious the backpeddling going on since M isn’t out of office and may well be elected again. You are correct. He’s a great excuse for the non-RV. The hacks claiming this global RV has been held up waiting to see who gets the power in Iraq are the same dopes who claimed it had to happen because the global economy was headed towards meltdown (didn’t happen). They’re the same ones who have claimed for months “everything is done” but then a day later tell you things are moving in the right direction, there are meetings, etc. Ok, if it’s done, why do things need to “move in the right direction”?
Get ready for another round of excuses once the new PM is elected in Iraq and everybody is still waiting for the millions to fall from the sky.

  4. here we have poopy spouting off at the mouth again with uninformed BS......he seems to think that this company dinar trade is opening new offices when in fact it seems they merged with 2 other dinar dealer companies thus making more locations. they didn't go out and buy new buildings and office furniture etc......this guy is just a clueless, delirious and lying senior citizen! it does not show that any RV is close. what it shows it people are still buying the dinar for same reason. oh could it be because the gurus are pumping daily BS to people and they go out and buy more? their is no chance in hell I would ever buy more. their is no proof or logic that tells me that buying more would be of any benefit to me or my family at all!

Poppy3 - DinarTrade [offers multiple] Physical Locations…THEY WOULD NOT BE SPENDING THE $$$$$ TO OPEN ALL THESE OFFICES IF THEY WERE NOT THINKING THEY ARE NEAR THE TIMING OF THE RV — THIS IS AWESOME NEWS AND DEFINITELY SHOWS THEY THINK THE RV IS VERY CLOSE. EVERY ONE OF THESE OFFICES FOR SURE IS COSTING THOUSANDS TO GET OPEN. THINK LEASES, FURNITURE, EQUIPMENT, POWER, MANPOWER, LICENSE, ETC. NOW THAT TELLS ME THEY THINK THE RV IS FIXING TO HAPPEN AT ANYTIME. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ANY DEALER IS HUGE NEWS IN MY BOOK

  5. Is that the major "dealer" announcement that was supposed to possibly upset some people? lol...

Post from Kaperoni: - "This significant news will be announced regarding certain dinar dealers. It appears that significant change is coming. Many may welcome the news, others may be very saddened or upset. All I can say, is when I heard, I was very concerned."

Surely I can see why. IF infact DT did merge with two other dinar dealers and the dinar dreamers who purchased dinar from companies XYZ finally awoke from their drunken stupor then decided to sell their currency back to Dinar Trade they can easily deny the sell back because the currency was not purchased from Ali.

This certainly would not be humorous to those people but I sure hope that all others still buying into the DREAM ACT of 2004 which is "spend $1k and earn $1 million overnight" come to terms that this is nothing more than a facade.

So while I have zero evidence that this is the case it would NOT SURPRISE me that DT would screw dinar holders on the buy back.
